Kimmy's House is a nonprofit organization based in Denver, CO whose mission is to partner with Jesus Christ to impact the lives of individuals with special needs around the world by equipping communities to provide quality holistic care. We desire that every individual in the world with special needs receives care from a loving family and knows the love of Jesus. Our goal is that communities will accept and value individuals with specials needs and see them as God's children. \\Kimmy's House worked directly with over 175 children with disabilities in Haiti and India combined in the past year. Of the 175 children, 40 children live at the Miriam Center, an orphanage specifically for children with disabilities, the rest live with family in the community and receive services from a Kimmy's House representative. Kimmy's House provides these children and families with nutrition, medical and educational support as well as therapy and spiritual encouragement. We also assess the basic needs of families and come alongside them to provide support and encouragement so they can better care for their child with special needs. \\Our hope is to see even more children with disabilities around the world being cared for and loved by their families. We hope to continue growing as an organization and pouring into and building up nationals who can carry out the work of Kimmy's House. A greater impact will be made with more people advocating for the cause of children with special needs.
