In the Summer of 2016, L'Appartement Concept Store said bonjour to Miami.Founded by Emmanuelle Bernard, a French Interior Designer, L'Appartement became known for curating an eclectic Parisienne atmosphere in the heart of Wynwood. With Emmanuelle's impeccable eye for edgy and colorful design, L'Appartement Concept Store offered a unique selection of pieces signed by European designers and brands rare to Miami and the United States: Moustache, Petite Friture, La Chance, IBride and Firm Living, to name a few. Stepping into the Wynwood showroom meant stepping into Emmanuelle's personal mélange of interior and exterior design elements, accessories, lighting, art and gifts, an "eclectic art de vivre à la française." What began as a concept was well received by the design community, and has since become a favorite destination among interior designers and design lovers alike.In the Fall of 2018, we said adieu to our first home, as we grew from L'Appartement to HOEM.
