Helping Hands G78 is a great boost to the community, since our inception we have managed to help people in our area and further afield. we are delighted to announce that we are now a registered charity, and with that we are expecting to become busier. As a charity we will be looking to take on volunteers to help with our larger items sourced. As with the business expansion we are also looking to move to larger premises as our unit is limited to what we can take in at the moment. Why not get involved with us, we welcome any help we can get to improve & expand this wonderful venture, it has been a worthwhile journey so far and we hope it will get even better. Our Mission to Preventing/Relieving Poverty of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial constraints/hardship and any other disadvantages by providing a service which, sources and or donated to us. All items sourced & donated are affordable whilst we ensure all goods are of a good quality, all electrical white goods are PAT tested and comply with British Standard Safety. We serve to alleviate debt within the community section of society for those who otherwise can not afford to buy or afford H.P costly furniture, We are contributing to reducing stress of debt for many who may feel trapped within a debt spiral. Our objectives are to ensure that anyone can use our services regardless of situations, it may be people of vulnerability, starting out in new homes with little or no furniture, it may be others who are fleeing domestic abuse who may be referred to us through external agencies or direct contact with us on social media page. We offer transport for all deliveries which are also costed low, we are aiming to tackle social isolation by offering volunteering opportunities to the people who use our service, thus giving a sense of community involvement. Environmental aspect of our enterprise is high on our objectives.
