Hackathons New Zealand looks to bring more visibility to upcoming Hackathons, Creative & Innovation sprints and game jams in New Zealand while bringing the community of students, professionals, curious individuals, organisers and organisations together. To newcomers, these events can be incredibly intimidating, overwhelming and pre-imposter syndrome-like, especially as which have many industry professionals, but a lack of student participation. We aim to bridge the gap between newcomers and these events, to improve participant experience and create a more welcoming approach - especially to high school and tertiary students.
