We are Jen and Madi, a sister duo from Perth with a creative flair and passion we can't contain! We specialise in photography, grazing tables, hampers, picnics and event styling for intimate occasions, aiming to take the stress off our hosts so they can get lost in the moment. Having Italian, Greek and Egyptian heritage, we are no strangers to food, parties and get togethers. Our best childhood memories involve the intimate gatherings of family and friends with great music and awesome food. Our vision here at Ginger + Ivy is to share our passion and create memories like this for others.Jen is a devoted mother of three with over ten years experience in planning and hosting birthdays, christenings, baby showers, and her own wedding, which she planned in JUST 12 WEEKS. She is often described as our 'crazy parent' who throws extravagant parties, paying attention to every fine detail, while being thrilled in the challenge to create new styling themes and tablescapes. Jen has a passion for good food, enjoys experimenting with different tastes and cuisines, and is skilled with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free foods. Having completed five years of a specialised art scholarship and going on to achieve her bachelors degree in photography and illustration, Madi is highly experienced behind a camera. Her finesse for creating great photographs led her to being awarded the Best Commercial Photography Student in her graduating class. Her expertise also flows over to graphic design, sketching and content creation. Madi's greatest passion grows from her ability to capture memories and document them in time with each click of the shutter.We specialise in intimate occasions of any kind, aiming to take the stress off our hosts and allowing them to get lost in the moment with their family and friends.So don't hesitate any more, let's chat!
