The Freeport Public Schools Board of Education and administration take great pride in sharing the awards and recognitions that have been achieved to date during the 2011-2012 school year. Our Students' Achievements: • Members of the Class of 2012 have been accepted into several of the finest colleges and universities in the nation, including: Princeton University, Yale University, University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania State University, Albright College, Northeastern University, Molloy College, Quinnipiac University, Polytechnic Institute of NYU, Hofstra University, Adelphi University, and SUNY Stony Brook, Albany and Binghamton. Freeport High School seniors Justin Millan and Emerick Martin were named Siemens Foundation Semifinalists. Seventy-three students were inducted into the National Honor Society and 68 students from Dodd Middle School were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.
