Why we do what we do...At Fattoria Valle Magica we believe everyone should have the opportunity to eat healthy, naturally produced meat as it would have tasted before mass production, knowing the animals have been reared with care and had a good life in their natural environment.How we do it...We focus on breeding and conserving rare and traditional breeds, no longer used in modern commercial farming. These breeds grow more slowly and live self-sufficient lives in their natural environment. Coupled with this, we focus on organic and sustainable farming methodologies and avoid use of unneeded medication.What we do...We run an organic, sustainable and Eco-friendly farm 600 meters up in the Abruzzese mountains, positioned between all three of Abruzzo's national parks. Our farm will be open from 2017 for visitors to see our animals, has play areas for children and we run daily activities. We have extensive BBQ and picnic areas and we will welcome you to come and enjoy the magic of our environment, enjoy good food and relax with friends or family. We will host school visits, events and holiday courses so we can share our passion for sustainable farming.
