Enactus Edinburgh is a student-run social enterprise affiliated with the Edinburgh University Students Association. Enactus Edinburgh plan and implement community outreach projects based in Edinburgh and across the globe with the aim of ‘creating economic opportunities' for others. Our team effectively initiates, manages, and develops business projects in both the local and international communities to maximize business opportunities, and help others to realise their potential.Enactus Edinburgh aims to inspire, improve and transform the standard of living for thousands of people locally and globally. For our student team members, Enactus projects set them apart from their peers, by providing an environment based on cultivating and developing relevant skills with the aim of increasing employability.We are currently running 5 projects, 2 of which are local social enterprises, and 3 are international projects based in Malawi, Kenya, and India.Our Successes:2018 - Semi-finalists and final 8 at the Enactus World Cup2018 - Winners of the Enactus National UK Competition2017 - 2nd at Enactus UK National Expo2016 - 3rd at Enactus UK National Competition2015 - Top 10 at Enactus UK National Competition
