ECLA is an Academic Research Organization devoted to provide support and expertise for the conduct of clinical trials in Latin America.With headquarters located in Rosario, Argentina, offices in Montevideo -Uruguay and local representations in Sao Paulo-Brazil, Temuco-Chile, Lima-Peru, Bucaramanga-Colombia and Quito-Ecuador, ECLA leads the coordination of clinical trials in the region.In the early days of 1987, ECLA designed and conducted the first full-scale clinical trial in the setting of acute myocardial infarction in collaboration with Oxford University, UK.
