Our product, DOTs, revolutionizes neuro-muscular re-education therapy (NMRT), which is based on neuroplasticity of the brain. NRMT allows improvements in motor skills, accomplished by performing a series of neurological exercises with feedback supplied to the patient. EMG biofeedback is used to accomplish and quantify this rehabilitation. NMRT is particularly targeted towards patients with the following conditions: CP, TBI, Strokes, and, Spinal Cord Injuries. ~8M Americans (of which approximately 4 million are children) are affected by these conditions alone costing hundreds of billions of dollars to the families and nation. DOTs will consist of:- a gamified mobile app,- EMG sensors communicating via bluetooth to a mobile device, and- a clinician dashboard software with data analytics.Beyond this niche market, DOTs also has the potential of commercialization with gesture control applications (for example Myo from Thalmic labs).
