IESE's Doing Good, Doing Well Conference is the largest student run conference in Europe with 50+ speakers and 500 attendees annually. The conference was founded in 2001 and has been running every year since. Each year there is a different theme that examines a component of doing business responsibly. In the past we have had the pleasure of welcoming such diverse speakers as Professor Muhammad Yunus (Grameen Bank), Lord Michael Hastings (KPMG), Maurice van Sabben (National Geographic) and many more. The theme is Building Better Businesses for a Brighter Future: Our world is changing faster than ever before in human history. Climate change, technological advancement, income and social inequality, the overconsumption of resources, and a shifting political landscape all mean that the world of our children will look far different than the world of today. Businesses are at the leading edge of this change, and their choices will have a profound impact on the direction of our planet.
