Doctor Stockwell's, a division of Stockwell Medical, Inc., is a nutraceutical company, based on the vision of a physician and founded by a group of seven business students from the executive MBA program at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas. Dr. Erica Stockwell is an OB-GYN in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a physician and a mother, she knows all too well the suffering that morning sickness can cause in pregnancy, making it hard to comply to the daily recommended prenatal vitamin regimen. To better treat her patients, she developed an easy-on-the-stomach fizzy prenatal vitamin powder that meets doctor-recommended nutritional needs and contains added vitamin B6 and ginger root extract to help prevent and ease nausea. Why swallow an elephant-sized pill when you can drink your daily vitamins? She used her product as a real-life example in one of her classes for the MBA program. What started as a class project, became a reality due to the hard work and ambition of seven student entrepreneurs who believe in Dr. Stockwell's vision.The company was started on a single prenatal vitamin product, but has plans to expand into nutritional supplements to enhance women's lives, no matter what the stage.
