Alan could see that Health and Safety was not just about keeping workers safe during their working day, although this is vitally important, he saw, so much more potential in managing safely.Over the intervening years he has studied leaders in Health and Safety, companies like Shell, who have embedded safety so deeply, that it becomes second nature.
