As one crosses the 40s threshold an issue starts to arise with the same intensity has one's hair disappears and wrinkles appear – what do you expect of your life to be in the next decades?Slowly one starts to appreciate each moment, paying attention to details and enjoying the simple things of life.At some point two portuguese brothers-in-law took contact with a wood fired pizza oven and… we decided to buy one. Family members (specially the younger) loved the taste of wood fired pizzas.It was a small and portable oven, not a big thing. But as the fire started, people started explore their criativity shooting ideas on the toppings and much more. Soon stories started to flow as the fire developed.Then we got it: that oven brought the family together. This simple product allowed for making much more than food for our body – it fed our lifes.So we came with a plan to share this with everyone - Carawela!We got excited about it and ideas arose at fast pace, 90% of them silly 🙂From the first model we called Classico we derived to left and right, expanding our range to the five models Carawela now offers (check our website).This process goes on, our goal is to make the best ovens and spread our Portuguese Carawelas around the world, as they were centuries ago during the Portuguese discoveries.We love to fire the oven and call friends and neighbours, or even clients, suppliers or couriers, its a matter of arive at the right moment and in good mood. This is our feedback loop, we want to know what they think could be better, how can we improve.
