As a pan-European trade association, CEFEP is focused on promoting the benefits of FEF and PEF insulation regardless of the manufacturer. CEFEP was established under the umbrella of Güteschutzgemeinschaft Hartschaum e.V. (Celle) in 2012. Members of CEFEP include the companies Armacell, Kaimann, L'Isolante K-flex, NMC, Steinbacher Dämmstoffe and Union Foam.
