The California Electric Vehicle Incentive Project (CALeVIP) is a statewide project focused on rapid expansion of EV charging infrastructure in specific regions of California. Funded by the California Energy Commission and implemented by the Center for Sustainable Energy, CALeVIP works to remove a major barrier to EV adoption by collaborating with local partners to design, promote and implement electric vehicle charging incentive projects. CALeVIP delivers an economic solution for owners of multiunit dwellings, businesses and public agencies to expand EV charging that supports California's goals to improve air quality, fight climate change and reduce petroleum use.
