Barefoot Edu Foundation is a grassroots organisation committed to empowering society by improving the learning outcomes of children in their foundational years and through vocationally training leaders from under-resourced communities. Our interventions include:Administration and management: Create easily implementable and lasting systems that foster learning for both children and teachers e.g school management, peer learning systemsCapacity building: For educational leaders, teachers and community youthInfrastructure: Design and execution of educational infrastructure such as Building As a Learning Aid (BALA), libraries, schools and learning centresTo us, quality education refers to the process of equipping learners with relevant knowledge, skills, values, and platforms to make the most out of their experiences. We believe that to bring about sustainable change one must holistically work in tandem with society and the systems that govern it.
