Broadcast Empire's origin began in 2001, as a SOHO operations one-man operation when then, Metrovision and Mega TV were spun down and the stations were looking to recover the value of its broadcasting equipment assets. It was appointed to assist the station in recovering more than RM 1 million worth of systems and equipment. With that achievement, it moved forward to establish itself as a service provider to the broadcast and production industry in Malaysia, and eventually into parts of Asia. Its wide network and deep industry knowledge helped propel it to chalk up more than RM1.5 million revenue within five years. In 2007, Broadcast Empire Sdn Bhd (BE) was incorporated, as an online presence for corporations that seek cross-border solutions. The BE portal provides a no-frills, out-of-the-box solutions at highly competitive prices, where local support, technical services and equipment warranty are offered as an option.
