Australian Youth in Emergency Management (AYEM) is an organisation spanning Australia, and much of the Volunteer Emergency Management Sector! We're entirely youth led, and we're here for the youth of Australia.AYEM is seeking to work alongside emergency management agencies in Australia, to foster stronger relationships between agencies and young people. Through these relationships, agencies can work to better engage, recruit and retain young people, ensuring better succession planning!AYEM is also seeking to work alongside young people, to demonstrate the benefits of being a part of the industry and what's on offer to young people who volunteer in the industry!Through this, AYEM hopes to encourage an industry with excellent recruitment and retention of young people, and more resilient communities through our young people.
