Aircraft Mechanical Services was started by Darrell Tunnell and incorporated in 2004. For nearly two decades prior, Darrell serviced and maintained aircraft under his original company Darrell Tunnell Company which he started in 1988. Currently, Aircraft Mechanical Service has expanded and currently employs a staff of 15. Our FAA certified technicians have a combined experience of over 75 years maintaining and servicing aircraft and are held to the highest industry standards. Aircraft Mechanical Services FAA certified technicians specialize in Cessna, Hawker Beechcraft, Piper and Mooney. Our team of technicians routinely provide comprehensive aircraft maintenance on piston, turboprop, and jet aircraft.Our 20,000 sq. foot secured facility has the capability to handle any job no matter how large or small. AMS maintains a complete up-to-date FAA compliant library of repair manuals and service bulletins for all of the aircraft we maintain. Our extensive services include: engine installations, hot section inspections, phase inspections, annual inspections.We have also incorporated a fueling station and detailing service at our facility, making AMS a full service company. Jet-A is available for fueling up before your flight departs. We have a complete wash and detailing service available to our clients to keep your aircraft looking its best.
