ALISA stands for , Adaptive Learning Image and Signal Analysis. It is a technology on the road to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI's). AGI's will one day soon help us through our daily lives. The ALISA Systems startup was tabled in mid 2013. The end was apparent after testing the waters with VCs and investor groups, and the message was clear and uniform across 30 or so senior investment decision makers. None of them were investing in R&D and barely any of them in pre-market product development. Their start-up investment capital was going into absorbing existing tech and products into the market place, and they were looking for products and enabling tools ready for market and test proven.
