At A Star Swim School we are a friendly and enthusiastic team of teachers delivering a high standard of tuition to children and adults in the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire area. We believe that individual progress is achieved when in a fun and calm environment, so all lessons are kept to a maximum of 6 children per class, to enable more individual support and encouragement for all children. Following the ASA's 'FUNdamentals' (teaching through fun and play) and the National Plan for Teaching Swimming stages 1-7 award scheme, children are encouraged and rewarded for their achievements throughout the scheme! Adult swimming lessons have recently become popular with people wanting to overcome any fears and phobias of the water, or simply to improve their stroke technique, which will in turn improves efficiency and reduced the risk of injury!
